Always remaining at the forefront of the profession, Consultant Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Surgeon Mr John Davidson recently jetted of to Orlando for the 2015 winter conference, Current Concepts in Joint Replacements for an update on all the latest in the field of orthopaedics. Mr Davidson said “this is probably one of the most important joint replacement meetings in the world so I’m extremely pleased to be attending this year. It’s usually attended by about 2000 surgeon delegates coming from all over the world to hear the speakers, meet with their peers and share best practice on an international scale”.

“While over in America, I will visit the factory where trabecular metal is manufactured, this is a metal that is used to grow bone on to when a patient has a defect in their bone. Attending conferences and meeting with colleagues from the orthopaedic world helps us at the bone and joint centre in providing the highest possible standard of care for orthopaedic patients”.
