Mr Dan Brown and Mr Graham Cheung attended the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology in Lisbon this June to present together on the following papers.
- Anatomical Classifications In Distal Radius Fractures: Are They Accurate In Complex Fractures?
- Modes Of Failure Of Surgical Fixation Of The Distal Radius Fail Using A Contemporary Locking Plate: Analysis Of 774 Consecutive Cases
These same papers were also presented in London from June 6th to 10th at the International Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand (IFSSH) alongside further papers below
- Complex distal radius fractures: limitations of plain radiographs in identification of individual fragments and fracture lines
- How often does surgical fixation distal radius fail using a contemporary locking plate and can it be predicted? Analysis of 798 consecutive cases.
Mr Cheung was also delighted to be a guest lecturer at an industry sponsored meeting on thumb base replacements in the treatment of thumb base osteoarthritis.
