Chronic exertional compartment syndrome (CECS) is a rare cause of chronic exertional leg pain. Debate exists regarding whether or not patients benefit from compartmental decompression over conservative treatment. Further, whether fasciotomy or a minimally invasive approach is superior and all compartments vs selective compartment decompression.
