Hand and wrist surgery papers and presentations
Mr Graham Cheung and Mr Dan Brown, Orthopaedic surgeons specialising in hand and wrist surgery at The Bone and Joint Centre attended The European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) conference in Lisbon 22-24 June presenting the two papers below:
- Anatomical Classifications In Distal Radius Fractures: Are They Accurate In Complex Fractures?
- Modes Of Failure Of Surgical Fixation Of The Distal Radius Fail Using A Contemporary Locking Plate: Analysis Of 774 Consecutive Cases
These papers were also presented at the International Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand (IFSSH) in London in June of this year along with the following:
- Complex distal radius fractures: limitations of plain radiographs in identification of individual fragments and fracture lines
- How often does surgical fixation distal radius fail using a contemporary locking plate and can it be predicted? Analysis of 798 consecutive cases
