The Bone and Joint Centre have been delighted to sponsor the Birkenhead School Rugby Tour to Namibia and South Africa this Summer.

The 1^st and 2^nd teams from the school left the UK on July 9^th to embark on the trip of a lifetime where they played against four local schools. A mixture of wins and losses for the two teams followed with close fought and tightly contested matches.

Being in such a fabulous part of the World, the trip allowed the students to take part in day and night safaris at the Manyane Game Reserve, outstanding wildlife boat trips, quad biking through some spectacular scenery and most importantly the opportunity to experience the very different cultures of the countries.

A huge thank you must go out to all of the host schools on the trip who have made certain the experiences of the tourists have been nothing short of fabulous, all games played in a great spirit with every effort made to integrate with one another and socialise at events.

It has been a pleasure to sponsor this tour and marvellous to see such great memories being made and friendships being struck.
