At the recent annual meeting of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society Mr Peter Brownson was elected to sit on the executive council.
The British Elbow and Shoulder Society was founded as a result of an increasing interest in shoulder and elbow surgery in the UK in the early 1980s. The purpose of the BESS is to foster and advance the science and practice of elbow and shoulder care through scientific meetings, educational programs and by encouraging research
BESS continues to be the main organ of communication and education for British shoulder and elbow surgeons, holding instructional courses that have proved a valuable forum for the advancement of techniques.
This is a great honour for Mr Brownson and we are fortunate to have him here at The Bone and Joint Centre.
