Sanjay Kalra

Mr Sanjay Kalra has been a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery since 2011. He completed his undergraduate medical training at Jesus College, University of Cambridge in 1999. His basic surgical training was based at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham. He completed this in 2004 and was awarded Memebership of the The Royal College of Surgeons of England.

He returned to Cambridge for his Higher Surgical training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery and in 2009 and became a Fellow of the The Royal College of Surgeons. He completed his training in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery in 2010 and was subsequently awarded a place on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register

In 2010-2011, he worked in Vancouver, Canada as a Fellow in Orthopaedic Trauma surgery to gain specialist training in complex trauma.

He specialises in general Lower Limb surgery and complex trauma. He has a specialist interest in Hip and Knee replacements, Knee arthroscopy and soft tissue knee injuries.
