Graham Cheung
Mr Cheung is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Royal Liverpool University and Broadgreen Hospitals, where he specialises in hand and wrist surgery. He is also an honorary senior lecturer at Edge Hill University.
As well as treating nerve compressions, arthritis, wrist injuries and tendon disorders, he has a specialist interest in treating people who have been affected by neuromuscular disorders that have affected their hand and wrists. These include cerebral palsy, head injury and strokes.
He also offers minimally invasive procedures such as endoscopic (keyhole) carpal tunnel decompression (privately) and Collagenase injections to treat Dupuytren’s disease – these techniques offer a quick recovery and return to full function.
Being a keen and enthusiastic teacher, he is regularly invited to teach on courses for senior registrar trainees coming up to their consultant exams on courses at Wrightington, Oswestry and within the Mersey region. He is also part of the faculty on the hand and wrist trauma course, which is run from Bristol University and was appointed as an honorary senior lecturer in recognition for his work as part of the faculty for the MCh Orth course.
